Data ownership

Data ownership means you hold and control the data you collect — it lives in formats and systems you control, and you can export, move, or delete it without being locked into a single vendor.

For lead generation, ownership is the difference between renting access to records inside someone else’s platform and keeping a portable dataset that is yours to use. Owning your data means you decide where it goes, how it is stored, and how long you keep it, which also helps when you need to honor deletion or access requests. gtme.business is built around this: results download as CSV files you keep, and on the Pro and Business plans they sync into your own Supabase rather than staying trapped in our system.
