Lead Qualification

Lead qualification is the process of judging whether a potential customer is worth pursuing, ranking leads by fit so reps focus on those likeliest to convert.

Lead qualification is the process of deciding whether a potential customer is a good enough fit to pursue. A team weighs signals — does the business match your target category, sit in the right location, show signs of being active and reachable — then ranks or filters leads so reps spend effort on the ones most likely to convert.

Qualification usually splits into fit and reach. Fit asks whether a business is the kind of customer you want: the right category, in the right places, at the right scale. Reach asks whether you can actually contact them and whether the timing makes sense. The earlier you qualify, the less time a team wastes — a sharp list of 80 well-matched businesses almost always beats 800 unsorted ones.

For local business outreach, the qualifying signals live in the listing data itself. Category tells you what the business does. Location confirms it sits in your territory. Google rating and review count hint at how established and active a business is — a clinic with 4 reviews behaves very differently from one with 400. The presence of a website or a phone number tells you how you can reach them.

This is where sourcing and qualification meet. With gtme.business you start qualified: you search a specific Google Maps category across the exact locations you care about — drilling down by country, state, or city — so every result already matches your category and territory. Each search returns up to a few hundred listings (a focused slice, not a city-wide census), each carrying name, address, phone, website, Google rating, review count, categories, hours, and a Google Maps link. You then sort and filter on those fields — say, only businesses rated above 4.0 with no website — to narrow the list before anyone reaches out.

A few honest limits: gtme.business gives you fit and reach signals straight from Google Maps, but no email addresses, owner names, revenue, or employee counts — those are not in the data. You qualify on category, location, rating, review count, and contactability, then export to CSV (all plans) or sync to your own Supabase database on the Pro and Business plans.
